CHIROPRACTIC EXAMINATION
- A chiropractic examination consists of an array of tests that check and assess for the biomechanical and neurological status of the spinal column and the nervous system. These tests gather information on the health status of a patient. The examination may include static palpation, range of motion testing, muscle palpation and strength testing, orthopedic and neurological testing, and postural and gait analysis. Vital signs are also acquired, and all other necessary and clinical components required for a patient's presentation during the physical examination.
- If your conditions require any type of medical or diagnostic imaging, you will be referred to the appropriate facility.
CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENT
- A chiropractic spinal check precedes the chiropractic adjustment. If areas of spinal or extremity fixation are found, the chiropractor may adjust utilizing a gentle and precise thrust on the bone that's been fixated within the spine or extremities to help increase mobility, decrease stress on surrounding tissues, and allow for better support and communication between the brain and the rest of the body.
- Adjustments to the spine or the extremities may be performed manually (with the hands) or with a hand-held instrument.
THERAPEUTIC MODALITIES

DOULA SERVICES
Bereavement, Pregnancy, and Infant Loss Doula Session
- The term "doula" comes originally from the ancient Greek - "a woman who serves." Many families across many nations have had doulas present during their fertility journey (fertility doula) or, most commonly, during the birth of a baby (birth doula) and post-partum period (post-partum doula).
- In some occasions, families are devastated, shocked, and heartbroken due to unexpected news - the unexpected loss of a pregnancy or infant. A bereavement, pregnancy, and infant loss doula, commonly known as a "loss doula" is a non-medical individual that offers non-biased, evidence-based, fully-conscious emotional support to families through the loss of a pregnancy (miscarriage or abortion) and loss of a newborn, infant, or child. This support offered may be different from person to person and can be achieved through in-person sessions or virtual sessions.
