CHIROPRACTIC TECHNIQUES
PRONE-SPECIFIC TECHNIQUE
- Prone-Specific Technique is a new, advanced method utilized by many chiropractors all across the country. This method for adjusting the spine is very specific, and more relaxing and easier for the patient than many traditional chiropractic techniques. Patients of all ages can benefit from this chiropractic technique!
- This state-of-the-art method is performed with light, gentle adjustments to the misaligned vertebras while the patient is lying face down. The experience is more comfortable for the patient and does not involve torquing, twisting, popping, or cracking of any joints, which can be uncomfortable for some individuals.
TOGGLE RECOIL TECHNIQUE
- Toggle Recoil Technique is a manual, upper cervical technique that is well known for its gentle and effective approach. It's one of the many traditional chiropractic techniques and, when the adjustment is performed correctly, can prove to be very beneficial to the patients.
- This method is performed with a gentle, manual adjustment to the C1 or C2 misaligned vertebra while the patient is lying on their side. With the use of a drop headpiece, the practitioner gently and quickly thrusts into the joint, letting the headpiece drop, and allowing for the removal of interference within the nervous system and helping with the correction of the misaligned vertebra. It does not involve torquing, twisting, popping, or cracking of any joints, as the patient is receiving the adjustment while lying on your side.
PERINATAL-CERTIFIED AND WEBSTER TECHNIQUE
- Webster Technique is "a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment which corrects subluxation in the sacrum (the pelvis). The tense muscles and ligaments in the pelvis, caused by misalignment in the sacrum may lead to constraint in the uterus, where the baby grows. When the uterus is torqued and constrained in this manner, it is more difficult for the baby to move into the best possible position for birth. As a result of this specific chiropractic care, the mother’s tense pelvic muscles and ligaments relax, enhancing the physiological environment needed for normal baby positioning." This technique is ideal for our pregnant patients!
